Understanding the biomechanics of human movement has implications for extending the realm of human performance and for informing recovery after a variety of neuromotor and musculoskeletal injuries. Sustained efforts in the research community and industry have led to low-cost and portable solutions that enable measuring and assessing biomechanics in application-relevant settings, such as on the playing field. However, bridging the research-to-translation gap requires collaborative conversation, ideation, design, and development between community partners, engineers and clinicians. We invite you to participate in this immersive co-design workshop led by experts in user-centric design thinking and human-centric technologies from academia and industry. Connect with students, researchers, athletes, clinicians, coaches, and industry experts and work together to define barriers of adoption and ideate solutions to facilitate technology translation to elevate human performance. Don't miss this unique opportunity to gain awareness of the intricacies of diverse applications related to human performance, to co-design innovative solutions, and build your professional network! Pitch your original solutions to a panel of for the chance to win prizes!

Spotlights

People are at the heart of this event. We are proud to spotlight many individuals who make this event possible. We have champions who are sharing their lived experiences to co-design solutions and work toward better mobility for all. We also could not hold this event without support from our generous sponsors, patrons, and partners who have provided funding, design materials, resources, and expertise to make this workshop a reality. As a not-for-profit event, we rely heavily on this funding to ensure the workshop is successful and impactful, helping us drive meaningful change in the field of mobility solutions. This event is supported by the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance and the NIH-funded FAIR Center at Stanford University.
